Youth Convention

On Thursday and Friday I went to the youth convention with youth from our church. It was a special event. The highlights where seeing kids connect with others kids. Kids who where on the fringes of the youth group feel like they really belonged. It was also inspiring to see the kids praising God and praying for one another. God is doing a great thing in our youth group and I feel honored to be a part of it.

Service is Joy?

A great sage once said, " I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold service was Joy."

That quote really spoke to me because it is when we out ourselves aside and serve others that we find true joy. Have you found the joy that comes from serving? Or are you as one person said, " Stuffed with self"?
