I led the gathering last week.  Their where about 12 elderly people there.  And yet during the service, I felt the obvious presence of God among us.  It was a sweet presence.  I felt like he really touched some people. It was a special event.  The highlights where seeing kids connect with others kids.  Kids who where on the fringes of the youth group feel like they really belonged. We laughed uproariously.  I enjoy that show for many reasons.  However, I enjoy the "slowness" if it.  Back in May berry, people were not in such a hurry as they are today. On Saturday, I saw the last building standing of Rice Lake, MN. "Let's go exploring," I told Tammy on Saturday morning.  We packed a picnic lunch, put the kids in the car and headed for Rice Lake State Park.  On our way to the park, we saw a old church building.  We stopped and explored. If we have a problem (Many of us think that problems are bad. I don't. I have come to the conclusion that if there weren't any problems I wouldn't have a job. I am a professional problem solver. And so are you) at church, I can tend to take it home with me and Stew over it. As a result, I can be home physically, but not mentally.
